again....thank you all very much for the compliments
garage rat and ringo
the wheels are both from a 92 cbr600
........the swing arm is an early cb750/900/1100 metchamex i believe.......all it took to take the 600 wheel was a couple of spacers made.......the caliper and hanger are from a zxr 600.....i cut the brake arm lug from the top of the swing arm an re-attached it to the underside then made a new arm by modifying a gsxr750 one.
.i'm sure you are being sarcastic there........i could try to tell you the satin look is intentional....buts its not.............i could'nt be bothered to polish any of the alloy.......just lazy !!!
unfortunately the tank is proving a problem........the bottom is fine where i have straightened the line but the area around the filler conversion has seeped through and the paint is starting to blister......its my own fault......i did the welding on the top and its just not up to scratch.........i sent the tank to a friend for the work on the bottom and he let me down regarding some pictures of the job.....got a couple of the job marked up but o doubt they are of much use to you.....sorry

no. I wasn't actually. I do prefer a satin or brushed finish on the alloys. I go over all my stuff with a scotchbrite, followed by some 0000 steel wool.
WOW!! I never really gave the F a look over before.. but your F is the second one I have see this month done up really nice.. And I have to say, I'm a fan now for sure!!
I don't claim to know much about the F model. but did it not run an oil tank like the earlier 750K's? Or is yours stuffed under the seat?
F's run all 4-4.5 qts in the block, shared with engine and trans, the side covers could easily be a reason its leaking...good luck man, this bike rocks!
