Face Lift off the shelf but What is it

Is that one of the vietnam seats? HondaClassic31? How do you like it?

Yes it is, but the one I have does not have as course of grain in the vinyl as is pictured in listing now. and doesn't look the same as was pictured at the timeNotice the length of the back end and it's relationship to the ribs.

I like the seat, but IMO kinda pricey, but I had a hefty PayPal account at the time from sales on eBay so it kinda felt like free money...lol

I've been thinking about these seats for a while but lately leaning towards one of Viets seats instead. Love the bike! The paint reminds me of Woody's tracker.

If that bike was painted it would just ruin it......its aged with grace and every fade or worn down piece has history that needs to tell its story. If I were to see that bike parked somewhere, first thought would be "sweet its still on the road and making someone happy"

Burt looks like he is sticking his head out of airplane window and Clint is still a bad motherfukr even in his senior years.......every wrinkle was earned by giving someone a scowly look before he blows them away with his S&W

To each their own, that's what makes any hobby interesting. There must be some appeal to patina in vehicles or so many people wouldn't be trying to fake it.

This build is what I would call a "Rejuvination" never will I "Restore" it. To me a restoration is a slippery slope, it requires every piece being brought back to like new quality, otherwise parts don't jive. This bike is intended to be an honest bike, cleaned and detailed to its best. I like the contrast of the clean nice chrome against "patina" a bike with "character", one that begs to be ridden.

Well said. I like some things painted and others just left alone. Hense....my 72 F100. No way in hell will I ever touch the paint on it. The rear bumper and truck bed tell a story.
Nothing like a good 40 year Arizona sun bake to make something look cool.
