He had his knees tucked into the fairing was slowing tried to pull his leg out... fell over slid...low speed. Kinda like those locking mountain bike shoes...been there done that. He said he learned from it...won't tuck his knees in unless he is doing a speed run.

Here is a little site I found with a drum brake comparison http://victorylibrary.com/brit/2LS-table.htm we have been working on Zeke's 175 and the brake front brake drum is THIN....and on other places of this site they talk about a front "floating" brake there is also a tutorial for lightening the hub and adding scoops and exhaust vents along with a link to Mike Morse Vintage Brakes and if you google Mike Morse you will find a bio that says he did machining for Yoshimura along with being OCD about the xs650 like other friends we know Looks like all roads lead to Pops. Teazer I am still looking for that book I so enjoy the hunt instead of being given the link it adds so much serendipity to the journey I wish others would discover this...of course I read the non-abridged version of novels and you don't read those with tabs either however we do keep the NoFear Shakespeare books around for our kids The great thing about Shakespeare is that the court teaser is the wise one where the kings are actually the fools.
