http://youtu.be/XvmoXxYldK8 you made his day!!!!Brother thank you for taking the time Monday morning 12:30 am to show me how to TIG aluminum. You had virtually no sleep for 3 days and you were in the moment just for us. We love you too and honored to have you as a friend and a Hero to my son...3rm bike is beautiful. I am picking up two mandrel kits in steel so we can practice...they just happen to be on sale in steel and that way we can play till the exhaust is tuned...what was the number on the henrob tip you recommended for Zeke?

Teazer every two stroke white and red Yamaha got "is that Teazer?" He is painting his Victoria white with a red stripe :)

i told you we didn't know anything. What it means is that the members of DTT came together in community to pour their wild skills, wit, and wisdom into Zeke to teach him...giving him a lifelong education where he said, "I want to start a school to help kids"

Yep I got that and it's very inspiring
I should have said what it all means to my cb200 build.
I have been reading this outstanding collaboration by DTT members.
I promise to not tell the secrets of the thread:)

I just wanted to say again how great it was meeting you and Zeke this weekend. Truly my honor. It is inspiring to see that much enthusiasm shared between a father and son.

I recently helped my son Adam, who is also 10, rebuild his first bicycle from a rusty $20 CL find. Watching him soak up all of that knowledge was great.

Maybe next year he will be willing to join me at Barber.

On the way back home yesterday I thought bout getting the kids into racing. I went home and asked my 8 year old son lance if he wanted to. His response,"Dad give me a harder question".lol. I then said "sweetheart" before i could say anything she says"duhh, cmon dad.seriously" Thats my 10 year old daughter kayla that gets that evil look in her eye anytime she gets on her custom pocketbike, lol. She loves to go fast and that honestly scares me,lol. Figured you and Zeke would get a kick out of that.

The President of Cone Engineering, Inc., Craig Stenberg, instructs Zeke and challenges him to fail at least five times so he gains experience and knowledge in building exhaust systems from pulse velocity to pulse volume exhaust tunings.

The outpouring is overwhelming. We took some cash for the barber swap meet because we were looking for a cb160 frame, tank for Zeke's build, pe22 carbs, etc.

The only thing we ended up with is a taste of Pennsylvania moonshine because we picked up a cb77 frame with a title for one of our fellow DTT family. That was the only parts we came home with and -16 bucks of our cash for a toy cbr1000.

So we delivered the frame to our friend and he basically gave us this...a cl160! Now Zeke can race vintage one day!

I think anyone can be forgiven for stealing some extra glances at such a pretty little Italian. 42 hp, 150 mph, 125cc is a nice figure. Vavoom! Plus she's got water cooling to keep her from showing you that famous Italian temper. My kind of lady ;D

That's a nice little racer, but I think the RK67 will forever be my pick for the best of the two stroke tiddlers.

suzuki-rk67.jpg

50cc twin
14 speed transmission
17,500 redline
17.5 hp (350 hp per liter!!!)
Top speed of 109 mph
128 pounds (dry weight?)

one of my best friends quipped as we were looking under her dress/fairing. "Italian women, Italian landscape, Italian art, Italian food, Italian wine...how can you not make something as beautiful as that?!" Yea and the guy was a woodworker by occupation but an artist by vocation! BTW Wandre was a motorcycle parts guy who made the most beautiful electric guitar...yep Italian...
