Thanks for the nominations!! It really means alot to me. Im honestly suprised due to the fact that the bikes not done and I cant even ride it yet! But whats alittle wiring, a chain and a battery box.

This bike doesn't represent DTT or the members who collectively help to build all the crazy ongoing builds here. Is it a beautiful build? Yes! Do I mean offense to the owner? No!! So, I'm withdrawing my seconding... if someone else wants to, fine. But come on guys, let's represent DTT with bikes DTT built.

Moho, no worries man, we've been having an ongoing discussion about BOTM and who should qualify. You just happened to post a great bike that landed smack dab in the middle of it. I think thats what he was reacting to and I don't think he was intending to harass you.


There aren't any hard and fast rules yet so may the best bike win!
 
Although I appreciate the nomination (I really do) and am humbled to have any bike I build in the BOTM, I decline. I do enjoy going to and voting on BOTM but not into it when I am in the mix. The past times my twin was in BOTM I never accepted the nomination except for the first time and did so hesitantly. I don't want to sound like a douchbag but I build my bikes for me to ride and enjoy and get plenty satisfaction posting pics in show and shine/build thread to show my work and reading responses. This site is great with some amazing, talented and artistic builders. It is one thing to build a great bike and another to make it art, I lack on the art side.


Some very deserving bikes in the mix this month and some more coming down the pipe in the build thread section. Looking forward to it. - tweakin

Nah man, as I said in that post, I meant no offense to you the owner. I love your build. However, you posted it up in a slightly turbulent time, it was nominated, and I seconded on impulse rather than thinking about it. However a fantastic build, it isn't a DTT built build. Go to the Lounge, read Kantikoy's "A Few Words" post, and think about what I did. Then, contribute to this community for a while, build a bike, and get nominated again, as a contributing member. It's all good man.

Props to you, sir. I read your entire build and actually have your bike as my background on my iPhone. But having read this, not only do you have my respect as a builder/bike aficionado, but also my respect as a person. That right there is humility, folks. I look forward to your future builds.

I'd like to second, third, whatever Diesel450's CB200 and P71SOHC's Lucky 13! Hopefully its not really "Lucky 13..." cause theres a long way to go :eek: Love the Red and gray Diesel. Good luck dudes!
 
Im sad tweak, I wanted a 750 on the banner so bad, but I respect your decision 100%
 
LEAVE ME OUT OF THIS....lol. Im not done yet, I am doing more stuff this winter and I want it finished up for spring time. Plus Im sure everone is sick of looking at the same pics of this bike (including me) I just can't wait for the winter to be over. I keep day dreaming about summer time 8)
