Most these bikes have no front fender / mudguard, the last time I rode my bike like that after a light rain, all the water from the front tire/tyre ended up directly in my face!
What's up with that!? You all only ride when there's no rain?

Do you ride in the rain? If so, what is the difference between water falling from the sky and water flipping up from the front tire? A full face helmet make water to the face a lot more bearable.
I'll tell you all straight up this is one of the closest BOTM contests we've had. Nobody has it in the bag and nobody is out of the running. Get your votes in and spread the word. 1 vote could make the difference.
The best part about the hidden poll--nobody knows!
Nobody would presume anything to be sewed up with this crowd, especially me. Given the widely mixed reviews I've gotten, I'll just take the bag....over to the corner...and nervously wait....and use as necessary
Seriously, though, I do appreciate the folks who've seen fit to give a nod this way, and sincerely respect the opinion of those who absolutely hate it!!
Last time I checked there was a big difference. One of them is falling down all nice and clean, the other is throwing up all kinds of shit on the rider every time the bars are turned.
I respect the opinions of those that hate Christine too... Their right to reproduce and fill the world with more tasteless misled copies of themselves is however questionable.
Ha, after watching the previous critical reviews, I think Tim shudders to imagine all the people who would leave DTT forever should Christine make a banner! This place would be a post-apocolyptic, binary ghost town, just the way she likes it!! ;D ;D
Nah. there's always bikes that we love and some we admire and few we really don't like at all, but they are just bikes.. Did I say that out loud. Oh my lord.. Ah well. Too late now it's out..
That bike is controversial in several ways - tank, lights, screen etc, but it's different and individual and that's good. I like things that stretch the envelope. That's why the phat Trakka isn't a TR750 replica which was one idea I played with, but that's what everyone does or they restore them or fit Jemco pipes and that's it.
One more day of voting folks - 15 votes is the spread, and no one bike is leading the pack. Nice tight contest this time around which is great to see and clearly any one of these bikes would make a fantastic banner for the month.

I actually took my front end apart the other day for a rebuild and then road before putting the front fender back on.. There is a perfect stream of water (when it's wet) and dirt that arcs out away from the bike and then back into my face directly. I had a full face on, which just got really dirty...
