file too large

hey boys,i finally got a camera and some pics together of my first build--CB 100--my prob is,when i upload even just 1 pic it says file too large must be 1024 hp blah blah blah,can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong before i fix this problem with my BIG hammer grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Use a hosting site like photobucket or image shack, or trim the file way down.

If you got a DSLR, make sure it's not in RAW format

DSLR = digital single lens reflex. Looks like this

And with the RAW image format it makes the pictures enormous. It's used mainly for photoshoppers.

Hell my 8 MEG camera takes pics that are the size of small bill boards when I actually read the dimensions.

I have been using imageshack for years, I love it for the batch uploading and the fact that it will automatically re-size the photos for me. And its free to use for the level I need. Plus, like any online storage, you have access to them everywhere you have net, my android even has an app for it.

I think you can even link facebook photos too right? Donno never tried it myself.
