Finally finished my L.E.D.'s.. Final product:

Griff5268

Been Around the Block
Had to move them around, add some, finally got what I was going for. This thing's got more lights on it than an 18 wheeler..lol.
Front shot. Lights mounted under the headlight, shines nicely off the chrome fender brace..

Whatchu guys think?

I'm not usually a big fan of this kind of stuff but I think it turned out really well. I've seen some bike with reds and blues all over the place and it looks crap. The choice of white lighting (or at least what appears to be white lighting) was well thought out. It highlights some really nice parts of the bike at night.

Thanks Sonreir.. I agree. I haven't seen too many other colors I liked, but they also weren't done right. I've seen Joe do red on damn near anything and make it look good. Blue or red didn't go with my bike. I figured I'd light it up white to accent the little chrome I have, lol. Reason most kits don't look good is the lighting. You wouldn't believe how many lights it takes to get this kind of glow. Most of the time you see a guy with a pod pack of 3. The pods are great, but only have a cluster of leds pointed in one general direction. My bike has 6-4" strips, 4-10" strips, and 3 pods. Under the headlight, under the tank, under the seat, under the fenders, under the swing arm, and some attached to the frame to shine where I needed..I have hyper white piaa bulbs in the headlight so when it's on it blends as well. I'm in GA. Cops are tough on bikes, especially if it ain't a Harley. Blue and red are for emergency vehicles only in my state. I got a ticket for having blue tinted fog lights on a mustang back in the day "impersonating an officer". I've got a buddy who is a policeman so I checked with him before I plugged all this up. In GA, as long as it's white and downward facing, it's legal. Can't be beaming at traffic, can't be colored. Damn near every car slows down at night to check it out. the visability alone for night rides is worth it. I got pulled over 2 nights ago just so the cop could check it out. He wanted to make sure it was to code (bs)..it was. He got my card and said he might call me to help him rig up his softail..lol

looks great man! light up those wheels bud! love the look... there will always be haters that say "gay" hahaha i can not count how many of them have brought their bikes in to me to have them lit up after talking shit... once they see it done right they fall in love
always gonna be someone jelous of your ride man!
you did great though bud, you can not see the ligths only the light they throw! nice work!!!... not sure what kind of switch you use... but i run micro switches from radio shack, they are super small and easy to tuck and hide somewhere on the bike, work great and are not a big eye sore

little inspiration for white:

white and plasma white on the chop (did not want the plasma white on the wheels as it has a blue tint to it... and with the monster wheels chopping did not want them having a blue tint as then spun.

also a cool trick! get some 5mm leds, toss a resister on them, and pop 2 small holes in the headlight bucket... seal them in with some super glue or any kind of adhesive, and will really pop at night with the lamp lit up!
you can see i lit the lamps up of the 2 bikes on the left here
