Thanks, here are some more images of that seat. It was hand formed on an english wheel using steel. (not made by me). Its tough to see by the images, but the guy who made if for me did a real nice job of blending the frame into the seat. He grafted in a little fender underneath the seat as well which blends right into frame as one piece.

SIX MONTHS?????

damn i hope it was "mates rates"

hahahaha i think it’s just a bike thing, i ordered a jacket in feb and am still waiting on delivery. Dropped my frame of to a bike mechanic locally as I had a sized swing arm it was there a month and when i rocked up pretty worried(as the mofo had it out the back) he tells me “i had a few weeks to think about ways to get it off but I’m stuck for ideas”. Took it to a metal fab place and he used heat........ bolt was of in a hour lol

Believe it or not, yes it took six months. I think my project was fairly low on his priority list.

Damn nice man!!

I LOVE how you used that goldish color. You pulled it off well. Very nice build!!

that's cool too...nice dramatic use of color difference.

tell me how did you get the wheels done, did you have them painted or powder coated without unlacing them?

powder coated them all as one unit- no relacing. They were perfectly true and round so I just left them together and had the powder coater go easy on the heat. They are still true after powder.
