where it went. I took off the carb and was looking at it and it fell out.
Figured I'd just look at my other carb to see where it came from. Oops that one fell out too. What is the part? I have seen where it goes but I'm not sure how to get it back to it's home and the manual I can't even find the part. I am also terrible with names so I can't just figure it out by googling. Any help guys?
Ok I've noticed the valve looking one just slides in the top. I guess that explains how easily it slid out. Now as for the other part I'm still a little lost.
Are you sure the parts diagram that you are using, is for the carb that is on your bike? I don't know any history on your bike, but someone may have installed a different carb on your bike, hence the confusion. Do you know the model # for the carb?
How stupid of me. It's a 76 cb200t. I have the correct manual for sure. The honda manual says CB200/cl200 and the klymer is 68-76 125s to 200s. Neither show the part. I think I figured it out. When you slide the piece in the top picture in you slide the bottom piece in and there's a tab it inserts into on the top piece. Man I wish I knew the names so this wouldn't sound so moronic. Anyways 90% sure that's how it goes but would like some assurance.
Another thing I noticed that inside my carburetor body the walls seemed to be scored and scratched. Is that normal and is that ok? I can try and get a picture.
It's your choke. Operated by the lever on the outside of the carb with linkage to the other carb. They're a little tricky to get back in, but once you understand that the lever is what makes it go up and down you should be able to figure it out.
Yup, It's for your choke which isn't the most useful thing on the cb200 anyways.. Theres a groove on top of the carb under the top cap that it slides into.
