i pealed out the blank today and now see that i will need quite a bit more layers... i only used two layers or fiberglass cloth .. going to put two more layers of heavy fiberglass mat on the inside to stiffen it

Yeah, back when I played with fiberglass I always did cloth/mat/cloth. But I didn't know a whole ton. I bought a welder after all of that stuff Now if I could only pick up a TIG for aluminum so my stuff isn't so heavy! Send another update after you reinforce yours.
