been lurking, buying some parts, and researching the fine art of the cafe racer.(thanks to this site) my 750 has transformed from a trunk and windshield wearing, pink flamed sissy to a decent looking project. I decided to take some pics of the progress so far as it finally looks like something i may tool around town in. of course there is more work to be done, but you can get an idea of what im working with.

I stripped all the parts that i wouldn't use and made a couple Ebay garage sales. My paypal climbed quickly, allowing me to buy some bigger items like the seat and Kerker. Ive only used the proceeds from the parts so far but that is about to end because the paypal is almost dry and i have no more parts to sell

Bike is currently running and driving and is not too far from being on the road. Upholstery, more shaping of the tank, paint, battery, and tires are on the short list. Im sure I'll have another list when i actually start riding this thing.

Excuse the crappy cell pic. Ive got $600 into this thing as you see it now.

Thanks for looking. any feedback welcome....BT

nice, tail section looks a tiny bit big for the bike but i think you could make it work if you shorten the seat section a little bit

i got this seat because it has recesses for the stock hinges. I agree that it looks a little big in this pic but it looks better on the airtech website. maybe just a wierd angle in my photo??
