Check for spark first, pull a plug and ground it to the case and turn it over and watch for a nice blue spark.
If you've got spark check for fuel, are your spark plugs wet? Pull a carb bowl and make sure its full of gas
If you've got gas check timing.
If the timing is good check your valve clearances
If valves are good check compression
If compressions good re-clean your carbs.
Not to insult your investigative skills, but is your petcock open and in the correct position? Try the RES setting if your fuel level is low or just fill the tank up. I've made that mistake and fooled myself for a minute.
