He was an OK guy, but unfortunately I was too stunned to give the police my report, so the liability may fall into my lap.... His stated that I decided to drive straight into him, hit the front left side and was dragged back before falling.
I'm too depressed to give my bike a proper once over right now. I spent mucho time and money over winter putting it together....trying to forget about it till this insurance evaluator comes around (and probably suggests we don't count the $$$$ I put into the bike and just go by blue book value of a stock cb350).
The right carb is bent enough for the idle speed screw and the arm attaching it to be rendered useless, but I found a spare body in a box of crap, though, but thanks. I would definitely be interested in a new tank, although mine is matte, guess I could fill it in and paint it a real color easily. I'm worried about the frame and forks or triple. Something is bent big time up there. Also the frame was chopped at the rear and a brace added and I'm concerned there could be some structural damage.
Basically I have zero time and zero cash to take care of any of this before say, December, so I don't know what I'm gonna do. It's also a steep learning curve for me these skills having only been acquired the hard way over the last two years. Lock the bike away for the year I guess. Bummer.
