So i took one of my side knee pads off my honda cb350 68' tank in order to seal a small leak under one, but i am rather puzzled and worried about how to get it back on. It was rather difficult to get off, and its seeming much more difficult to get back on . The replacement knee pads for these tanks, as far as i know, are only made by one company for $80 a PIECE. So, that said i obviously don't want to damage it, but the thing just seems too small to fit back on. I was wondering if someone knows of some way of making the rubber more malleable or stretchy? Or if there is just some trick to getting the pads back on the tank, thanks!
