This is starting to get annoying. When I look at people's pics in threads and posts I only see the left side of the pic, and to see the right side, I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the post to move it over to the right. Is there a way to view the pictures as a whole instead of screwing around like that?
What are you looking at the site on? I've got it configured to work well with screen resolutions of 1280 wide or better. Images posted get resized to 700 pixels wide, which keeps them from having to be scrolled side to side on a 1280 wide screen such as on most laptops.
The vast majority (114,000 out of 166,000 in the last 30 days) of visits to the site are using screen resolutions of 1280 and greater in width which is why I designed it this way. Let me know what tech you're using to view the site so I can confirm things are working as they should.
If you are going to view DTT on the iPad, use the ap "Tapatalk" (it's free I think) It is basically a forum browser. It's not perfect, but it is loads better than IOS-Safari. DTT is almost unusable on the iPad without it...pictures are one of the best parts, right? I too only saw the left hand side of everyone's photos for a long while. I was starting to believe no one ever worked on their front end. LOL

Yeah, but it would be nice not to have to install stuff. I think there needs to be horizontal scrolling, or the images in post need the width to be set to auto to fit the browser
Would still love to know what browser / screen resolution you're using. FWIW I've viewed DTT on an iPad and thought it looked good in Safari - will check again to see. I know on my Android phone the pics are cut off and there is no scrolling side to side - not much I can do about that, but it seemed good on the iPad.
Any reason horizontal scrolling is disabled on the Android? Is there a setting to set the picture size to auto width? Seemed like some people described similar issues on the smf forum.
1366x768 should be perfect. My laptop is 1280 x 800 and it's designed to fit that screen, so anything wider will be just fine. Can't do much for those on mobiles.
