FLush mount pop up gas cap?

BNR34RB26DETT

Been Around the Block
i was wondering if anyone is running one of these.
it seems pretty simple to install. cut a hole, drop the stainless cap, weld. done.

any installed pictures on cb550 would be great.
what are people using for gas cap aftermarket solutions?

thanks!

i used one on one of the first tanks i made a while back.

how was the installation process? im really digging the flush look.
and more importantly, how does the cap fit in there? does it work pretty well?

its pretty decent quality. it screws in then you push it down flush. push it down and it pops up then unscrew to take it off.. its spring loaded.

i used bronze brazing rod to install so it limited metal distortion . too much heat will distort the top of your tank.
