Been Around the Block
i have read all the bad news on the EMGO pods blocking vacuum ports on carbs and such, but discarded it cause my cheap pods are attached to rad hose then to carbs so wouldnt block anything.
fast forward and im having trouble with my temporary oil recirc venting for roadworthy. im using the stock setup but instead of having the hose attached to the airbox, ive snuck the rubber pipe between the rad hose and pod. thought it would be good but nope, after 5 mins of riding the bike starts dying cause of excess crank pressure. i then figured it might be the hose clamp crushing the recirc hose so installed a steel piece of tubing to stop it crushing, but again, bike wasnt running right.
then it came to me and i realised my problem. that internal ring that spells trouble for carbs was blocking the end of the recirc hose as i pushed it in.
so nothing i need help with just sharing some irrelevant info.
