Forgot one thing, how big of a problem is it.

I started making my first fiberglass seat pan this morning. I was really careful to tape everything off, then I used foil tape over that, and then put on two layer of fiberglass mat. I was feeling really great until I realized that I did not put anything on the foil tape (wax, WD40, etc) to help with getting the fiberglass off of my seat.

Is this a huge problem, or will it just make it difficult to get the form off the seat?

might be a problem depending on how well the epoxy stuck to the foil. i say finish it and then if it comes out messed up, just use that piece as a plug and work from there.
