Fricken e-bay people, but new Shorai on the way

So this week I ordered a new Shorai battery for the Kool-Aid bike. I ordered it at 6 am Monday morning. I finally got a response from the seller today that he is out of stock and they are backordered from Shorai. ARRGGGHH. I was hoping to get it in this weekend. Fortunately, he refunded me my money, and I got another one ordered this evening. Hopefully will be here soon. I will let you all know a detailed review when I get it. Supposedly a 14 ah 200+ CCA battery that weighs 1.68#, and has no liquid, so can be mounted any way. Here is their site:

Evidently the guy sold me something he didn't have. Not sure why, but it really annoys me. More so after a refreshing Christian Brothers Brandy...

Sounds to me that this guy is a drop-shipper and doesn't carry any stock himself. This is one of the reasons I hate Ebay.

Yep, I have had the same issue more than once. I had to threaten to cause a stink with ebay about it twice to get my refund too. The worst part is they were buy it nows with stock showing, and they wait until the 14 days shipping time has passed and you email them asking where the stuff is and they say oh, it's back ordered. On a brighter note, let us know what you think of the shoria, I want one as soon as I can afford one for both my bikes.

At least the guy was pretty good about the refund. It turns out that these batteries are becoming wildy popular, and are getting harder to come by. I found another one, actually a little higher capacity and smaller case (14ah, 210 cca) for less. The guy e-mailed me last night and verified that it is shipping. I will keep you guys posted with a review when it comes!
