Fried indicator

Been Around the Block
Hi, just finished my project. I have fitted a set of indicators that I bought from a seller on Ebay. Now I know they where cheap but after running them for a week or so one of them looks like it has melted from the inside out. It has a small bubble in the casing and the indicators on that side have stopped working. The seller says it is not possible to melt it due to the low wattage bulbs? Unless I have done something wrong... As I ran them for a week I'm not sure it is my wiring as it would have done it straight away would'nt it? If it is me what could I have done wrong? Any ideas? :-\

What kind were they? If I had to guess I would say they are cheap, something internal vibrated loose, it shorted out and melted itself.

i got the aluminum ones because they are "lighter"

You won't get no Einsteins if you're feeding them banana's...
Buy cheap = buy twice.
