Just kidding guys.... I'm from Michigan, I just needed to get the Bond reference in. Besides, sometimes it really feels like Russia here ;D.

Regardless, I have purchased my first motorcycle ever! It is a 1971 Honda CB350 twin. I am planning on writing up a build thread as things get interesting once I get some free time to work on the bike this winter. Thanks for putting up with novices like me, and have a great night.

thats is a nice straight bike ;)
whatever you do do not tear it apart right away ! withthe idea of a "build" if you do 95% chance you will never ride it :-\ :'(
its your first bike try to be smart
get the thing in 100% top shape running and riding and enjoy it for a season learn to tune it etc

Yeah, after I read the disaster of Rocan's cb350 thread I will heed your advice. My first step is getting it running, learning, and having fun with it. I am still very inexperienced when it comes to motorcycles. I would hate to dump loads of money into it just to crash my first day out.
