I am trying to get my bars all set up on my cb350 and need some levers and perches. The only universal type I can find and for dirt bikes and do not have a switch for the brake light. Is there any universal switch that I can get for a cable brake or does anyone know of a perch for a cable brake with a switch in it that fits 7/8 bars?

HVC Cycle has OEM lever mounts for Yamaha's that will fit 7/8 bars. (scroll towards the bottom of the page) The link specifies what levers to use, but doesn't mention which switch. But you can clearly see the switch mount on the perch. I'm sure if you call them they'll hook you up.

I used dirt bike perches on my 350 and a brake cable from a CL175? that has a switch built in. Ill see if I can find another for ya...

There ya go. $16.

Thanks Von!! That is exactly what I was trying to find. Now I have one on the way. BTW how was the length compared to the stock cable. It would be nice if it is a little shorter becase the clipons sit much lower than the stock bars.

Von, that's interesting. How does the cable activate the switch?

You know... Im not sure. Its all enclosed. Im sure its just a small contact switch. Pulling makes contact, releasing breaks... Its tiny, I know that.

I used a set of magura levers. the brake side cost me 38 bucks. Switch is in the assembly and everything works flawlessly. Not to mention they are one of the highest quality lever assemblies available.

this works good
