front forks, mounts where the stock blinkers were.......

....are still on my bike.....i hate them, terrible eyesore. I have my blinkers coming right out of my headlight, luv the look, but the mounts where the stock blinkers are killin me. what exactly has to be done to remove them?{kind of a rookie question, i know. I sawed them off on my last bike and would rather not do that to this one}

I can take a more detailed, closer up pic later, but if you look at the forks, you can see where the stock blinkers were....thanks
