Front turn signals removed and now stuck

Hey everyone, this is my first post and of course I need some help.

I took the front turn signals off my 1978 CB750F last night and I'm kinda stuck. The signals are indeed off but I'm not sure what to do with the existing wires that went to the signals. The bike runs fine and the headlight and taillight work, but the rear turn signals (that I intend to leave alone) no longer blink.

I'm thinking that something needs to be done with the front signal's existing wires to complete the circuit or something, but I'm just not sure what. Any advice is much appreciated.

I believe all 4 bulbs need to be connected for the old flasher units to work. I know my old honda would only flash with 4 bulbs. I think you can get a couple of resistors to wire in place of the front bulbs, or get a newer style flasher unit that does not need load to work. Someone else may have a better explenation, Welcome to the site.

Cheers

You don't need the resistors if you get a flasher designed for LED's. There are plenty around.

I replaced the lights and signals on my NH750, new flasher worked fine.

^ LED Flasher. $5-10 at any autoparts store. It will need a ground wire but you can just run it to any nearby bolt.

Not necesarily. Depends on the flasher unit ;)
