Garage Poster - 4 stroke

I like it! I could love it... and buy a shirt...

I think it would also look better if it had the look that it was cutting through the cases not not a blob of something. If the cylinder section had fins showing in the cross section and the bottom had a uniform casing with some bolt protrusions, oil slump, etc.

I know it's nit picky details, but details matter! :)

Yup. +1. We're all bike lovers here and most about the details.... If it's fixed, count me in for a poster and shirt. ;D

I like it, but agree with the comments above.

I'm going to do a 2 stroke one for all the scooter folk out there too.

Sorry, but WTF does that mean?

If you think all 2 strokes are scooters then you need some re-edumacating. Possibly a good smack in the face with an expansion pipe.

Will give you benefit of doubt, but you better be explaining yourself.

Ha, Yes I am aware not all scoots are two strokes, and not all motorcycles are 4 strokes, I'm fully aware of the two stroke revolution in motorcycles brought one by the Honda Elsinore in the 70's, It was an off hand comment because a bunch of vespa folk I know wanted 2 stroke ones.
Theres all kinds of stuff with two stroke engines like weed eaters. On another note, I've rejigged the design and cleaned her up a bit. I'm looking for a t shirt vendor who can do shirts. In the short term however I will be doing letter press prints of this design in the near future, just need to get the press plates made.

Looks good, count me in for a Xl shirt! And a kids shirt too!

Awesome! I've gotta figure out the details for shirts, I want them to look nice, and be something people actually want to wear so as soon as I figure that out I'll let you know how you can snap one up hot off the presses.

Looks good amigo.
Put "exhaust valve open" on the blow section and you've got a winner

I like it apart from the few things I can see as wrong. A Tshirt would be awesome. Or even a small patch to stick on jackets.
The things that I can see wrong are:

On Bang "plug fires" is pointing to the valves. There is an arrow pointing to the spark plug with no notes attached.
"Both exhaust valves closed" is at the bottom of "suck" instead of where "plug fires" is.

On Blow "Intake valve" needs closed at the end
"Exhaust valve" needs open at the end
There is no reference to what is happening with the exhaust gas.

i think it is very nice, t-shirts would be something i would buy
and perfection is a negative here, i think it is art and perfection in art is boring
if you really want to mess with people heads add a reed valve, ,honda did

That's funny stuff right there :D

I'm interested in a 2stroke poster, but would like to see it first.

2-stroke would be interesting as there is always 2 functions happening at the same time

So in addition to the posters I've decided to make t shirts out of this design. I'm going to be doing them on hemp shirts, white ink on black, brown, green, or blue to start with adult sizes will be $29 plus shipping.I'm taking pre orders now, so message me with your email address and I will put your order down if you want one. I'm about 3 weeks out from making the first run, but pre orders will help me gauge demand. Thanks!

Not piling on... But... The history of the two stroke engine began WAY before the 70s, and WAY before the Japanese (especially Honda ;) ) got involved in anything fun. Really not trying to be a dick, but you should read up on the history of motorcycle development from the early days (1800s) to today. It is terribly fascinating. Honestly.
And, the more you know about a particular subject the more easily you can be a part of the masses who share your passion. That's always rad. :)
