Ok, I am about to start putting everything back together on my CB350 and I have a quick question. What does everyone use for preparing gaskets? I have used RTV in my previous career as an auto tech, but I don't like the idea of the exess getting squished out and ending up in the already marginal oiling system. I never really used spray gasket sealer so I don't know the ins and outs of it. I did a little research on the web and came across the use of grease on gaskets. The idea is the grease will cause the gasket to swell and seal. And you can remove it without damaging the gasket in the event of a mistake. Has enyone heard of this?
