Getting new carbs

Been Around the Block
So I have been looking around and from what I have seen people hate the mikunis and say the keihin work better/easier to tune with small honda twins. I was just wondering about some opinions on this and if there is any truth to it. I am talking aftermarket here as well. And you should probably also know I have a cb200 that is the reason for asking. Thanks.

Where did you hear that? I put VM20's on my old CL175 and they were a breeze to tune.

Looking around on caferacer.net and here everyone seems to have problems getting the mikuni tuned in. So I guess I was wondering if one or the other is better for a twin like mine?

If you get the correct emulsion tubes rather than primary choke, they are easy to tune.
Problem is, almost all of the Mikuni VM series carbs come with 2 stroke jetting which works OK for racing but sucks on the road (particularly part/half throttle/cruising) You need #2

Whats wrong with the stock carbs?
What did you do to the motor to warrant larger carbs?
seem to remember that the 175 carbs are larger then the 200?

Great thanks for the info on the emulsion tubes. And the stock carbs on the 200 are little 18s while they are ok it kinda seems like the engine could use more air. I also plan on doing more than just upgrading carbs.
