Getting started with a 1981 XS400

I found this site via Google and wow, what a great resource. I'm just starting with my 1981 Yamaha XS400 after owning a bunch of Cafe Style bikes in the early 80's. I hope this one turns out well, while sticking to a rather lean budget.

I've got an '82 Yammy XS400 DOHC twin that I have the same ideas as you ... Cafe or flattracker style it . Budget lean here too , but finding a lot of good ideas on the site .

Curious if that name has to do with the old Triumph GT6 sports car ??
