ok. im drivin in the country checkin barns and fields today. i usually do this every other month or so. i have found some good stuff this way. well, anyways, i see this garage with a couple stripped down bikes in front of it. i pull in and they're old triumphs,nortons and bsa's. so i go to his door and ask if he is willing to get rid of one or some parts so i can start my next build. he says "well, im not goin to get rid of these. theyre my babies. but if you're into jap stuff i have some parts back here" MY GOD!!!!! there is 2 barns full of old hondas, zukis and yamy's. as im siftin hes tellin me the story of how he used to race cafe bikes. he had a "lil shop" or accumulation of parts from him and his friends. then he bought out 2 junkyards of their stuff. let me tell ya, if he doesnt have it no one does. he told me if i straighten it up a lil and help him sell stuff i have free reign. SOLD!! so i grabbed an xs650,motor already rephased, nice ass set of wheels and a couple coffin tanks. im goin back tomorrow to start "attempting" to straighten up. so if you need ANYTHING let me know

Lemme know what you find SR500 related. Would like to set it up with a set of XS650 hubs (I'll probably buy new rims/spokes so just hubs). Looking for a new tank for it too. Something small, square-ish...

im goin to try and get there tomorrow. i think there was 1 or 2 of em. he had a lot of cb750, zuki 750, 2 cb360 some 2stroke zukis. wheels and tanks out the ass.the whole bikes werent in the barn which kinda upset me a lil. but its not my stuff sooooo

yeah it broke my heart all the completes were outside. but you usually have to go through them anyways sooooo. none of them have titles. they were all salvage bikes. most of the stuff is covered now.

about how long of an area you got? theres a bunch of tanks out there. alot of stuff wouldnt show up in the pics cuz of no light.

give me about a week. i cant afford to drive out there everyday. so im gonna do a once a week trip. spend a whole day out there grabbin what people need and what i need ;D so just send me a list. ill give you a price and we can negotiate from there. im not tryin to make money and neither is he. we're just tryin to help people out that are willing to put a lil elbow grease in and not wantin spend hella on ebay or cl.
