I think I like the idea of the home made fuel tank under the faux GL tank, but how much fuel does it hold? It looks very small.
And, given the freedom you've been given with the tank, don't you think a more slender (faux) would look better on top? Visually, the rest of the bike looks stripped to the bare essentials with a muscular engine (like a 100m sprinter - not a marathon runner and not a bodybuilder if you know what I mean) and the tank looks rather bulky.
Just a thought...

Awesome! Love to see how you did things nobody else had thought of with a 'Wing. I like the bulky tank, reminds me of a BMW Boxer with a toaster tank. I so want a Goldwing now more than ever!
