Got a leaky petcock - from India/Ebay

Got two petcocks to use on a new Benelli Mojave tank from Fleabay. Couldn't determine the thread size for sure, so ordered two petcocks from the same India seller. One leaks. Upon close inspection, the one that leaks seems to have an extra brass washer or something that the non leaky one doesn't have. It appears to be leaking right under the on/off switch. If I shut it off, the leak stops. I am trying to get it replaced, but that will take many weeks at best and I want to ride. Anyone know of a better quality replacement or band aid to help my bike's incontinence ?

They probably got dry cork seals. May swell and seal!

That brass washer is a sealing washer for the outlet adapter. Try holding the main body with a wrench and tightening the outlet adapter with another
