Yeah, I got a couple of bikes. If I only had one running POS, I would be a happy man with bugs in my teeth. But somehow Lady Luck gave me a sly little grin and now I own several pieces of shit! Nothin' fancy but I love 'em all.
I've been riding my old XS11 for over two decades, other bikes have come and gone but the old 11 keeps rollin' down the road. I think about making some changes now and then, but she is still stock (except for the Kerker 4 into 1!) and I like her just the way she is.
The project I'm working on at present is another Yammie, a 76 XS750. It was a respectable, strong running triple until I started whacking at it with an old cafe hammer I found.
I have a few things left to finish up before the fat lady sings, but this little triple should be back on the road soon.
Got an old CB650 next in line for the chopping block. Gonna hardtail and rake the neck and make it as dangerous and unrideable as I possibly can. I probably won't bore youse guys with the Honda build, but after that is done I'm gonna do an American SoCal alley scratcher, cafe racer kinda thingy. Got a 1982 Ironhead that will be sacrificed on the altar of eternal combustion. When the XLH is on the lift, I'll do a build thread. Here's a shot of what I'm thinking might work...
Keep on wrenchin' and ridin', splittin' lanes and grinning like fools. C ya!
