How is your 125 warp speed special coming on? I'm so stoked with my CG push rod engine .... buckets of torque and mid range, I don't bother revving it out, but when it needs a rebuild I'll defo go to 150cc.
its the only time ive seen it.
im thinking that this bike needs stacks.....
dont think its enough filtration but we will cross that bridge when i get there
i have a set of NOS mulholland shocks that i was thinking might work well on this bike.
the springs are crazy stiff.
what weight would i want for this bike?
i found 90 and 135 cheap on ebay but im not sure if the 90 is to much. i think what i have now is 135lb
plan to run 20wt in the forks to help out a bit
Well after much waiting my rear tire should be here next week so i can get this think rolling.
Still on the hunt for cables
starting to think about what to do with the motor but for now im working on the roller
Finished with the carbs, polished up the rings, manifolds, bowls, and brass parts. Jets cleaned up great
going to order seals and gaskets to top them off
these are the NOS mulholland shocks that i have, they are alittle longer. what do you think?
got in some clubmans. got a great deal on them.
the have a lower drop then some that i have used and should work well on this bike
i will need to cut them down a bit though
Following this build. Bike is starting to come together and looks great! Don't use that stock seatpan though, it looks pretty damn rusty. And those polished parts looks amazing-what did you use to get them looking so great?
im still not sure about the seat. I like the idea of doing the stock pan because it will give me easy access to the battery, the pan isnt bad, its useable and you would never see it. but i have a better pan around too.
its just im trying to keep the cost down and keep this build simple.
one of those vietnam seats covers is about $150 and then i need to install that onto the stock pan. Its simple and should look nice.
a fiberglass seat is $100+ and then i still need to paint and upholster it. so i assume in the long run its more work and money, just trying to see if the look and feel will be worth it.....
as for the polishing i sand....
400
800
1000
2000
000SW
then the 6" buffer
brown
white
green
its alot of boring work and its dirty as hell but I think it will look good on the build.
Well still learning more about LI-ion VS LIPO VS LIFESO4
Not that i ever worked on an electric motorcycle or anything.....
Electrical work has never been a strong suit of mine
JDM speedo yo!
Now if i could just find a metric tach....lol
Speedo fits but the mount on the back is alittle messed up so im not sure if ill use it.
Yup it's gone
Might have some odds and ends left over but nothing all that great.
It's a shame...sold the 175 to build a 450 and then just sold my 450 to do a 750
Now I have a few 750s and a CBX but nothing to ride
