Hey everyone, just bought my first vintage bike 2 days ago. It's a 1980 CB750K. All original except for ugly vetter fairing and kerker pipe. Needs some things like a headlight, brakes, the carbs and petcock leak a little (so far from what i can tell).

But I bought her to tear up anyway so it's no biggie. I'm going to mix cafe/brat styling.

This is my fourth bike in my 7 years of riding, i've built a bobber, a streetfighter and fixed the damage a stunt bike acquires. I'm decently handy but like anything if i've never done it before i will ask first!

Let me know what you guys think as i've already started the tear down. Thanks!

Ugly vetter? that thing is SWEET! JK Bike doesnt seem to need too much good luck with your build.

thanks guys! other than what i want to do to it, it needs a headlight, tail light, the carbs and petcock are a little leaky, the front brakes need to be replaced....um other than that it's all little stuff.

the last owner claims he just put in a stator and spark plugs but i'll check that!

what kind of oil should i run?

87 octane gas i assume, yes?

Just a little progress pic, got the clubmans on!

I'm thinking of getting cbr clutch and brake levers with the brake reservoir and going to steel brake lines.

Should help immensely with my worn out stock ones!

Have the clubmans on, painted red, shortened the seat, need make it less wide...getting there!
