While there are guys your size riding around on 250's, I'd suggest something a little bigger. First you need to decide what bike you're after - XS650 is always a good choice and a good bike to learn stuff on. CB750's are great too, but you're into 4 carbs/cylinders etc. making tuning a little more finicky.
