GS450 Engine Won't Start

I'm just about finished rebuilding my gs450. I just need to get the engine sorted out. It won't kick over. It did for a few minutes, the first time I went to start it, then died. I would have to pull the throttle to get it going, it wouldn't idle.

What I've Done:

Carb dip
Rejet to 142.5 Main, 45 Pilot
K&N Oval Filters
Oil Change
Open pipes

Fuel is making it into the carb. The left coil is getting 11.64 volts. The right is getting 10.6 volts. While cranking, the right coil would get hot, and the left would stay cool. I'm also getting a little bit of white smoke from both pipes. Both new plugs are sparking when grounded. I noticed I had the top breather hole on the engine plugged from when I painted it. I removed that and it still won't start. I checked the oil and it's fresh. What should I try next?

You got spark? Have you tried starter fluid yet? ----if it's just not turning over try jumping the solenoid or checking your starter with a battery ground to frame and positive on the lead

I had the same prob on my gs 400.
i sorted it out at first by the reduce the gap in the sparkplug about 30% at the hot coil side, worked out well for a day and then i had to buy my selves new coils and now she is ok! Check your ground wiring first!
Need more volts allso i think, tryusing a larger battery.

I've got spark. It's turning, just not starting. Haven't tried starter fluid.

I gapped both plugs to .030. Could the sparks be too weak to ignite? I'm using a large battery. I have an antigravity, but I'm using a large normal battery the previous owner installed. I never try cranking when it reads under 12v.

U have no spark at none of the sparkplugs? it doesent even thinking about ignite??
Try 2 change at least one of them,i remember that i had to have 13+ volt at my first startup.
but if the sparks there fill the cyl with starterfluids and it might jump to life.
You`ve done the carbs??
Check allso your egine on/off switch.

Voltages seems a bit low and it's odd that both coils aren't reading the same. I'd keep an eye on those...

I can't remember, but does the GS450 have points or an electronic ignition?
