GS650 air suspenion

Been riding the Zook around for a few weeks now. High speed turns are a little scary since the front suspension is really soft. I finally found the air valve to fill the front for forks, but I am getting conflicting info on the amount of air that should go in.

Factory manual says: "Suspension comes from the factory with 7 psi in the forks. Make sure to maintain pressure between 7 psi and 14 psi"

Label on the fork says: "Max pressure 36 psi"

I want it to be as stiff as possible without turning the front end into a projectile. Any GS'ers have experience with the air suspension??

Thanks in advance.
