GT 185 worth building??

Anyone in here got a GT 185?...I found one in my Uncle's "barn" today...Looks like its in pretty good shape too. Also found a Kawasaki H2....I like the Suzuki best...post any pics of your 185's if you have one

Haha...don't think he will get rid of it.....He also has a super nice Triumph sitting in his living room....750 Bonneville I think

How is this even a question? Anything is worth building... Owned two of them. Not custom builds though. Sweet little two strokes... I say go for it!! I know there are members with two stroke customs on here but unsure if any gt185's.

I think he has a 305 Dream also.??....I am new to these vintage bikes so I may be wrong

i have (had) a 73 GT185K Adventurer. until the engine got stolen outta my garage. been trying to find a replacement slug for it for a few years. nothing in the any of the yards around the state (yes STATE, not city) and all on ebay are 700-1000 for the engine sans carbs. just sitting there under my bench waiting for that day i do come across a replacement powerplant for it.

woulda LOVED to see how that bike ran completely stripped and setup for around town errands.
