H4 drop in replacement LED from Superbrightleds.com

I just received my superbrightleds headlight and tail light LED bulbs. I installed them and the rear comes on fine and is exactly what I was looking for. The front on the other hand only comes on when you switch the power from one to off. when it does turn on it only stays on for a split second then goes off. Does anyone have any input on this? I would like to assume that being that this is supposed to be a drop in replacement, there would be a resistor in bulb assembly that would aide in pulling the current it needs to run... possibly not?


I'd greatly appreciate any input that anyone might have.



I know the light is not going to be all that bright, I am not going to be riding at night with this bike and just need the light to satisfy the state requirements here in Indiana.

LEDs (generally) only work with a specific polarity. Make sure your ground wire and live wire(s) are hooked up correctly. It sounds like you have them switched.

I've been looking to modify my dual sported XR650R dirt bike. I'm already flexible led strip lighting led outdoor lighting fixtures mini led light bars running LED taillights, and this would really help with saving some wattage from the stock stator.
