I have an idiot brother-in-law who would have put them on like that. That's exactly the way he said I should put my clubman bars on. :eek:
 
The bars don't bother me as much as the cattle catcher pegs. Man you wouldn't want to lay that thing over very far! I've seen where a guy put the risers under the tree and mounted the clubmans under the tree. A different look that I liked a lot. If I remember correct he had to trim a spot on the bars so they would go around the head tube. Not sure about doing that...but it looked cool. Now that I think of it it wouldn't be any different than trimming the bars to run cables/wiring.

The risers under the top triple may have been mysta2.  He has a kickass 360.  It was my insperation, a bit.
 
Jockey Journal has a thread about 100 pages long of 'short bus' bikes. Some laughably ugly stuff on there.

I love how it isn't even the right emblem for honda motorcycles either!

I think the idea here is dirt tracker; it would look pretty sweet with some modded dirt bars actually. As for the 550, nothin' a scotchbrite pad and some rusto can't fix-everything else looks in line (maybe reupholster the seat though...)
 
With the checkered Honda at least he got the handle bars on right, and it does have a cool tail light. The emblem, checkers, and exhaust need to go though. I think that he spent too much time on the internet getting ideas and tried to use all of them on the same bike.
 
I googled "ugly motorcycle" to see if i could find something nasty.

First picture came up with this...................i'm kind of disturbed by it really.
