Day 1

Tear down

Apartment living and motorcycle building, good combo

Dime city big hoop fit just swell

This is the point where it started getting out of hand

Getting that frame all prettied up, that fender is going to be bent out a tad and cut, maybe

Re: Steel city '82 GS750T Bratsyle build

knocked out some ugly crossmembers to make way for a nicer more classic looking tubing and fully mounted my fender in, just need to pull it out in the back and trim it down, and I think the frame is done, onto electrical once I get my ballistic battery in the mail

Nice.

New Renthal bars from Town Moto, Just did a quick mockup, I cut the ugly tabs off the rear of the tank so I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount the rear, I'll post some pics of it another day

Also some ass clown kicked in the door to the garage, so my friend and I updated the security measures

Hey buddy... I sent you a PM, but I don't think you saw it. Did your bike have sidecovers? I'm desperately looking for some. Send me a PM if you have them.

Hmmm 1 post in and looking for stuff inside that shed.. My 2 cents ;)

Ha

Painted the motor, also redoing the subframe a different style, wasn't happy with it

Also flipped the mounting bracket in the gauges upside down to lower it

I lost the garage I was working in so I hauled everything up into a spare room of my apartment where it sat for months on hiatus till I thought, fuck it I've already lost the security deposit on this place years ago, So now it is an authentic "home build"

Proper frame slugs from dime city, easy to get a perfect fit, drilled holes and tapered the tubing to get better welds

The frame is almost done, have threaded bungs to weld on that are going to hold the fender, also matching diameter bar end turn signals are going to be fitted in the ends of the frame for a clean a functional rear end

Next up before I can mount the fender I have to mount my battery/electric junk box first

Here's a little taste, I'll post more later when I get the batt/electrics box cleaned/mounted up and let me tell you its pretty unique and 70 years old
