I want to go the drag bar route. picked these up on dime city. They are shorter than stock. I am trying to figure out how to get away with not replacing the lines. Is this possible?

By lines, you mean cables, right? Yes, you can use your stock ones, some people will scream about it, but you'll have to reroute them in front of and then in between your triple tree and under the tank. For your clutch cable, up and over your headlight and then through the triple tree and under the tank. If you need to move your brake line, you can slightly loosen your banjo bolt and move it a little -- maybe need to bleed the brakes after. And you can tuck your excess wiring behind your headlight bucket.

I think the issue you are going to run into is that your master cylinder is going to hit the right fork leg. Been there tried that.

Depends on how wide the drag bars are, and what angle they've got (they're not completely flat). Drag bars don't always suck, and aren't always hard on your wrists. Depends on your bike, depends on the rider, depends on your stance, etc...
