Heading to the Swap meet...

Mr_Dunev

I have no idea what I am doing
Going to see if I can find any parts for some of my projects. I wish I could wear a hat with a video camera and take orders from other members, on here who might be looking for specific parts/pieces. Fingers crossed they have a '71 airhead tachometer!!!

I haven't been to this one before. It happens about once a month, 30 min outside of Los Angeles.

Nice.
My advice, if you plan on sticking with this hobby, is buy wherever you like that's cheap. You'll use it eventually ;)

This has been so true for me it's ridiculous. I'll buy something that I see for $10 I have no use for at the moment, but 6 months later it is just what I need. :D

I just cleaned my shop and hung up all my parts on a wall. I call it my cafe racer starter kit.
Seat, tank, shocks, bars etc.
I could put together a "cafe racer" in a day haha.

Ass.

EVERYTHING WAS HARLEY, barely any Jap pieces. Saw a "cafe" '75 CB450 for $5000 ???

The only tempting deal were 2 yellow ct90's for $600. They were just too rough for me.

I did see 2 Eddie lawson Kawi's and they were SWEEEEET.

There was also a nice original CB350, but again the price was too high, at around $2,800

Most of the prices at the place seemed retail, unless you dig through piles of old rusty Harley parts, but even then they wanted an arm and a leg for some pieces
