Hello, from Dallas

Hey all,

Thought I'd post my official "hello" here. I've been skulking around here since last August, when I bought my CB360. There are a lot of really talented and friendly (for the most part ;) ) people on here and there seems to be a new inspiring build just about everyday. I'd chimed in on the Dallas area introduction thread and was kindly invited to a little meet up and bbq, where I met some cool people with some really well-done rides. Very nice of them to invite me... After that, I decided to start a build thread myself and share with everyone what I'm working on. You can find it in my sig if you'd like to check it out. I'll apologize now for being wordy and picture-happy, but I really get a lot out of others' builds and explanations, so I thought someone might be helped by mine. :)

So, bought my 360 last Aug while my wife was outta town... ;D I grew up in rural Broken Arrow, Oklahoma having dirt bikes (Honda Spree 50cc scoot which all my friends wrecked, some kinda 50cc 3 gear Honda dirt bike, and my favorite an '87 Honda CR80) and riding everyday after school until it got dark. Sold the 80 when I started driving because I outgrew it, but bought a truck so I could get a 125 or 250 loaded in it, but that never happened... Fast forward 20 years (sheesh) and I'd been wanting both a project and a bike. Didn't know much if anything about cafe racers or the 360 really, but I saw the ad in CL and jumped on it. Wasn't until after I brought it home that I did some research and found DTT and the shenanigans that go on here. :) Started working on it last year, but mostly spend my time reading and trying to figure out what to do, since this is my first project like this.

Anyway, I see that someone starts a build on a 360 about every 7.4 seconds, but I hope you're all not too sick of them to take a look and let me know what you all think.

Thanks! Justin
