My Katana is going to look a bit like this (excuse my 2 min photoshop effort) - again, lots done as I built it from frame up, with bits off loads of different bikes and others modified or made from scratch. Quite a bit still to do though: currently at the fettling stage - engine and running gear is on, loom is on. Needs bodywork fitting, wiring finishing, fluids and filters, and then all the little things adjusting that you don't expect!
Thanks. I've just bought the xs, taking a gamble buying it on a description and pics. It arrived two days ago and it seems to be in amazing condition - I've only shown it to one friend and he's pestering me to sell it to him already! If the thermometer ever gets above zero I'll take it out for a blast and decide what to do. Just Bars, exhaust and a seat maybe as I think it looks good as is, but I have a set of USD gsxr forks....
Ya, you got yourself a nice bike there. Whenever I see an old bike that looks amazing as is.. I think it is classy to keep it stock and restore it. My project looks pretty good in photos, but at the cost I purchased it for and after going over it, I decided to rip into it a bit and just kinda have fun Best of luck to you !!! Enjoy it and be safe!
