Doing the obligatory hello!

Name is Gus, go by tbm. My two main scoots are a 1972 cb450 which I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine and a 09 Triumph Thruxton. Been seeing quite a few riders out in the 407 besides my buddies, looking to try and connect with others. Hit me up if you are ever down for a ride!

Connecting rod on the right piston went & caused some top end damage; need new pistons, connecting rods, clips pistons rings etc, etc. Going to bore it out & oversize the pistons. Since it's become a long term project I've decided to go ahead & open up the bottom case as well & fix any issues we find there. By the time it's done it will be a full engine rebuild. After that it's a whole list of things but I figured I'll start with engine first.

Welcome to the site, man. Good luck with the rebuild, and nice Triumph.
 
New guy here also in orlando, name is Matt. I ride a 79' KZ750b4. It is the only bike I own, for now. I have the urge to get my hands on something like a mid 70's kz1000 and build a sister bike to the 750, then do a bobber build from a hyabusa. this is my progress from stock to now. I am down to ride once I get my new chain.

Tim, let me know if you decide to go! A few of us having been talking about riding out there and probably stay the night. Have talked about camping somewhere but we haven't finalized any plans yet. PM and let me know if you want to ride out there with us!
