Hello from SF

Hello all,

I just picked up my second bike this weekend, a 1970 Honda CL350 for $250. My daily ride is a 02 620 Duc monster. This Honda is my first project bike and as of now I have grand plans of cafe-ing it out. I have been surfing the site for a couple of days and I can feel my pockets getting thinner. The best thing about a lot of the things I have seen though is that a lot of them are DIY.

I know! when I test rode it, I stalled out like an idiot. I think its a 52 tooth sprocket.

As for plans... lower it and get rid of the dirt bike knobbies, custom paint and seat and some tires. I have also been thinking about upgrading to disks up front.

Along with the bike the guy gave me a spare frame, two sets of tires, triples with forks and a springer front end. I have been thinking of choppin up the spare frame, extending the swingarm and increasing the rake. No definate plans though.,...
