Just bought a 1972 honda cb350. Originally i was gonna buy a bike then customize it to be a cafe/brat style but i found this one locally already done up a bit so i jumped on it. Still needs some of my own touches so i have some work to do. So far i have ricks hot shot charging system coming for it, stator and regulator do-hicky thing haha. Because right now its not really charging. Kinda just maintains you could say. Also i have some other odds and ends coming too. One question is should i look into electronic ignition? Its running fairly well but points just make me cringe. I dont mind them but i like the fact of not worrying about them. Anyhow First and foremost i need a new seat. I want a brat style seat either totally flat or a bit upswept. I tried finding one online and they all seem to be universal. Is there any out there that are bolt in? I could weld the tubing on the back. If someone could point me in the right direction id appreciate it. Also i wouldn't mind doing small style turn signals on the back but i would need to locate turn signal switch, i wouldn't mind finding a switch with electric start button too. And also how would i go about doing a small low key speedometer and tach? Thanks in advance and sorry for all the questions. This is my first motorcycle but familiar with two wheels, used to race motocross for years the brown bike is the style seat i want.
