Hi Everyone,

I thought I would formally introduce myself. I've been lurking on this site for a while and think that all of the bikes here are amazing!
I currently have a 1975 Honda CB550F that I will be eventually be building into a cafe racer. I also have a 2006 GSXR 750.
I've been riding for almost 20 years and have had a 1985 Yamaha RZ350, a 1993 Suzuki RF600, and a 1969 Suzuki T500 Cafe Racer that I gave to Loco Leon.

Hey OCV.. Well its about time that you quit lurking.. You definately hold the longest lurking record in DTT history.. ;D

Since you mention your 69 T500, that you rode for a full 5mins and couldnt get into 2nd gear... (That I sourced for ya, picked up for ya, kept it in my garage for 2 years for ya, then sold for ya..), I found some old pics:

So What are the plans for the cb550?
Does it run?.. Im guessing you'll need me to pick it up from your place, bring it back to the shop and start working on it....

yeah no kidding.. it is sweet.. bought new in 06.. It has a full mileage reading of a hundred and twenty five kms.. been out only 3 times in its life ;D.

Let me have it for the weekend and I can turn it into a REAL bike...
